Why is the 360° x 180 format so important?

The ability to look up and down in a 360° panoramic photograph is an incredible value for properties where the architect, interior designer, and owner have gone to the trouble of creating a beautiful environment. 360° x 180 panoramic photography can showcase your gorgeous cathedral ceiling or tile floor. However, the main benefit of a 360° x 180 panoramic photograph is not looking straight up or down. The ability to see room interiors or up close landscapes is the most important.

You may have noticed some of my competitors use restricted view 360° panoramic photographs that only show you the walls of the room. Your clientele wants to see what is in the room, not just the walls.

The viewing angle of a 360° x 180 panoramic photograph gives a much wider view that, in turn, gives the viewer a much better sense of a space, especially smaller rooms like guest rooms. You also have to consider the "wow" factor. People love interactivity on websites. If they are wowed, they are more likely to come and see your property in person rather than a competitor's. Remember, people buy based on feeling. Everyone wants to make a purchase that makes them feel good. 360° x 180 panoramic photographs give your target audience the feeling of being at your property. Once they know exactly what your property looks like, they will be more comfortable visiting you. Here is a visual example to illustrate my point.
